This year marks the 171st Anniversary of the Endon Well Dressing Festival which has a fun filled program of events and some fantastic stalls and attractions to see, not least of which, the wells themselves.

There are two wells in the village of Endon and both are beautifully and intricately decorated by a dedicated local team of well dressers using traditional methods.
Why not enjoy the fantastic program of events on offer throughout Sunday and Monday and then enjoy a fabulous evening meal at The Travellers Rest in Stanley and a peaceful night’s sleep at Jasmine Cottage Stanley.

Endon Well Dressing Highlights Sunday 24th May 2015
10am This year’s Endon Well Dressing Queen and her Retinue will attend morning service at Endon Methodist Church conducted by the Minister, Reverend Julie Herbert
2pm & 5pm Classical Indian Dancing Display in the Maypole Arena
2.30pm The Pet Show
3pm & 4.15pm Uttoxetter Hearts of Oak Morris Men perform in The Village
5.30pm Duck Race on the Brook
7pm Crewe Brass Band perform in front of the well
7.15pm Songs of Praise in front of the well led by the Crewe Brass Band, all welcome to join in.

1pm Children’s Magic Show in the Top Arena
1.45pm Classic Car procession through The Village with commentary at the well.
2.45pm Parade of Queens to the field
3pm & 6pm Ceremony of Crowning Emily Laura Baines as 2015 Queen followed by traditional Maypole Dancing by local children.
3.45 to 5.15pm Cauldon Canal Stompers Jazz Band perform by the well
7pm Tossing The Sheaf – Try your hand at tossing a bale of straw!
